Milton and Caroline Bradley as a Young Horse

Before her tragic death Caroline Bradley brought Milton out as a young horse. Caroline rode the sire of Milton, the great jumping stallion Marius. Milton`s mother was the Irish Draught mare Aston Answers who was also a grade A showjumper. As a young horse Caroline Bradley saw the star quality of the great Milton and told her parents he would be her Olympic horse in the years to come. Caroline passed away in 1983, when Milton was a six year old, many people would try to purchase this talented young horse, but Caroline Bradley`s retained him, Stephen Hadley would ride him for a short time before he became the mount of John Whitaker, who together became one of the most famous show jumping partnerships of all time. Below you can see a picture of Caroline Bradley competing Milton as a young horse.
